Return, Exchange, and Cancellation Policy

4 Love of Dogs has a 30-day hassle-free return and exchange policy so that if you are not completely satisfied, let us know and we will work with you to make it right. Your donation to help rescue dogs is still happening, no matter what. That is our commitment to you and the rescue dogs.

To initiate a return or exchange, please get in touch with us via email at For non-custom and non-personalized items, we will do our best to cancel your order if we can fetch it in time.

Custom and Personalized Items:

Understandably, custom and personalized items cannot be accepted for return unless there is a manufacturing error or product defect. If there is a quality issue with your order, you may return it in new condition and in its original packaging for a prompt exchange for the same item or immediate full refund. All refunds and exchanges must be made within 30 days of original receipt.

We want your order to be made exactly the way you want it so it is very important that you review your personalization information before submitting your order. Please make sure that you have uploaded a clear head shot of your pup and that his/her name is spelled correctly. For memorial canvas pet portraits, please make sure that your pup's birth and death dates are correct. Before placing your order, you are welcome to email us at if you have any questions regarding personalization.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept cancellations of orders once they are placed as they are immediately sent into production. Note: For Canvas Portraits, we initially send a “proof” for your "approval." Once the proof is approved and sent to production, we cannot cancel your order.

However, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do everything we can to pause the production of your order to make whatever adjustments are desired.

4 Love of Dogs reserves the right to cancel your order at its discretion should the order be deemed inappropriate for language, content, or material.

Return Process:

To request a return, please get in touch with us via email at Once your email is received, we will follow up with you with further instructions. If it is a quality issue, please provide an Order Number and attach clear photos of the item(s) that represent the issue.

You will then be provided with a return address. Upon acceptance of your return, a refund will be issued to the original form of payment as long as the item is returned in new condition, with no damage or wear, and in its original packaging. Also, ensure that you have provided us with tracking information for the returned package.
